Excellence and has attracted the likes of World Record Holder Mark
Foster and 110m Hurdling World Record Holder Colin Jackson to use
its facilities. There is a large choice of beachside hotels around
Palma and transport time to both pools is typically 10 to 15
minutes drive.
Los Cristianos is situated 15 km west of the southern airport
(Reina Sofía) and is one of the most popular resorts on the
Canary Islands. The beaches are very nice and it has a wonderful
harbour that offers fishing trips, pleasure cruises, glass bottom
boats, diving excursions and ferries to La Gomera.
Los Cristianos tends to attract a slightly older holidaymaker in
comparison to Playa de las Américas and has managed to keep a
little of its original architecture and atmosphere as a quaint
fishing village. The excellent pool is an outdoor 50m
Surfers Paradise says it all. This modern resort city offers
your team everything under the sun. The aquatic center has two
10-lane, 50 meter pools to make training easy.
The outdoor heated 50 meter pool is backdropped by the Sierra
Nevada Mountains and clear blue skies - the perfect combination!
Take advantage of the same superb facilities used by the British
team prior to their departure for the Athens Olympic Games, and
