Oceans of Fun

Oceans of Fun Days are a Fun and Engaging opportunity for members of your local community, of any swimming ability, to take part in a full range of Olympic aquatic activities and are delivered by Total Swimming.

The event is an Inclusive, Educational and Inspirational day of aquatic activities led by Olympic or Commonwealth Athletes. The aquatic activities that can be offered are Minipolo, Fast Swimming, Synchronized swimming, Diving and Rookie Lifeguard.     The pool will be sectioned off into these five areas with 15- 20 minutes being attributed to each activity. 

Total Swimming deliver an energetic, action packed morning and / or afternoon of skills and games across the 4 Olympic Aquatic disciplines (swimming, mini polo, diving and synchronised swimming) With an expert in the discipline who will provide instruction and encourage the children to persuade and inspire children In Olympic aquatic sports.

Each station is led by an Olympic athlete and supported by an ASA qualified level 2 swimming teacher. Swimmers are rotated around the pool allowing them to experience each discipline, providing the opportunity for them to gain top tips and advice off each of our Inspirational athletes.

"The passion from the Olympians for what they were teaching was excellent. It really made a difference to the kids."

Perhaps the most memorable part of this event comes just when you couldn't get more inspired, all the swimmers will get the unique opportunity to race against our athletes. 

"I just swam against one of the best swimmers and I just beat him so I feel really good!"

Oceans of Fun Days reward our swimmers with the chance for them to meet our Olympic athletes, collect their autographs, have their photographs taken and get a close up of their International Medals to Inspire them to go on and be the best that they can be.

"Great fun for the kids and really inspiring to meet the Olympians."

Every swimmer attending our event not only get an experience which will last a lifetime but will also receive a goody bag with a T-Shirt and a Swimming Cap.

"It was good for the children to be involved in different aquatic sports and given out the key water safety messages and the importance of being involved in taking part in sport"
