The clever people at Total Swimming have come up with an amazing
concept to ensure that more school kids have the opportunity to
learn to swim. Instead of them having to go to the pool, the pool
will come to them!
An inflatable pool will do a tour of the country, teaching whole
schools to learn to swim in an intensive 6 or 12 week term. The
pool has a solid bottom, but is inflatable so schools can put it in
their hall. 28 children can use the pool at any one time.
The pool will first be used at South Chadderton School in Oldham
before moving on to Birmingham, Sheffield and Aylesbury and then
return to Manchester.
