Local lad and Olympic Bronze Medallist Steve Parry has set up Learn to Swim Programmes across Merseyside to provide an opportunity for as many local children as possible to be able to swim. Total Swimming Centre of Excellence are committed to providing high quality swimming teaching for children aged 3 ½ years upwards. Using dedicated and professional teachers, the scheme demands high standards in progression and transfer allowing a child to reach their highest potential at a rate suitable to them as individuals - whether for fun, fitness, safety or even competition but most importantly to have some fun along the way!

Total Swimming are very excited to announce a sponsored swim event on behalf of the Adler Hey Childrens Hospital's Imagine Appeal. Titled 'Imagine Swimming the Channel' we aim to swim the combined distance of the English Channel (41.1km) on Saturday 13th February 2010 at Lifestyles Austin Rawlinson, Speke. Not only is this event for children but also for our parents too! On site we will have a local DJ playing music and entertaining the crowd, we will also have World Street Dancing Champion Danny Price warming up all the participants with an energy fuelled dance workout. Also we have local sports stars from the local area attending.
A sponsor pack will shortly be available which will include information on the event, sponsor forms, raffle tickets etc. There will be prizes for those who raise the most money and those who have been the most inventive fundraiser.
I do hope you will be able to support this most worthwhile charity.
See you there,
Steve Parry
